• Ensure that someone waits on the playing fields entrance off the Kingston Road (A415) to flag down the ambulance and show them how to enter the site. They may need access to the sports field if the injured party cannot be moved, so there must be a clear way for the ambulance to access the park.
• Do not move someone with suspected major injuries. Wait for the emergency services. Please note, sporting injuries can be triaged by the emergency services as up to a 60-minute wait time.
• Contact the injured persons’ parent/guardian. NB all Managers to have contact details on file for all their player’s parents/guardians.
• Complete an accident/incident report
